Comes in 3" - 9" wide boards.
We custom mill every flooring order specifically for each customer so that we can provide them with the floor that they really want. The boards that we harvest from the old barns come in many various widths and lengths, so we offer our flooring in multiple widths and random lengths, unless the customer desires all one width, and/or specific lengths.
Using reclaimed boards that were originally sawn to 1” thickness with a very large circular saw mill, and then left exposed to the elements for 100 yrs or more, allows us to dress the board clean on one side and leave a lot of the original patina and saw marks on the other side. We mill the tongue and groove right in the center of the edges of the boards so that they are reversible. You may choose a “rustic”, weathered look; or, a more refined “select” look.
We typically find oak, pine, poplar, maple, hemlock, and chestnut in the buildings that we deconstruct. We offer the oak, pine, and chestnut in our single species selections, and we mix these species with the other species to mill our “Mixed Barnwood” selections
